Dashboard Cofessional - Hands Down

마지막 부분 지대로 -_-)=b

굉장히 끊기는 관계로, 한 1분 동안 dashboard confessional의 대략적 설명을 듣고 플레이를 하자. 플레이하고 일시정지 하고 한 30~40초 놀고 감상.

이 양반 이름은 Chris Carrabba. 어렸을 때 부모님 이혼하시고, 유소년기에는 기타에 빠져 독학으로 기타를 익혔다고 한다. 플로리다 무슨 대학에서 밴드생활을 하다가 앨범 까지 냈다. 그때 작은 프로젝트 그룹 비슷한걸 만들어서 노래를 써서 음반을 내게 되었는데 그게 dashboard confessional이다. 왜 자기 이름으로 안 만들었냐면 (예를 들어 서태지와 아이들이나 Chris Carrabba) 자만심에 빠지기 싫고, 언제든 다른 뮤지션들과 함께 할 수 있는 여지를 남기기 위해서라고 한다.

어쿠스틱 기타 위주의 반주에 약간 높은 톤의 보컬이 시원시원하다. emotional rock이라고는 하는데 나같이 progressive나 hard rock 잘 못듣는 사람들이 많이 듣는 것 같다. (일단 나는 어쿠스틱 기타라면 좋아하니까.) Vindicated 라는 노래는 스파이더맨 2의 ost로 쓰이기도 했다. 2006년에 새 앨범을 냈는데 한번 들어봐야겠다.
